I held the camera.

Utah · sept 1

I’m Mitchell Manley. People who have been on the other side of the lens know me as Meech. The public name on this desk is Artifex Memoriarum. You have already seen the work — campus tours, trial coverage, a year in a cycle — usually without a lower-third that belonged to me.

I spent a decade inside Turning Point USA with a camera in my hand. That is not a credential I am trying to launder into a pundit chair. It is the reason this site exists. I know what the movement looked like when the man it was built around was still walking the rope line, and I know what the footage looks like now.

After he was gone, the org did what orgs do. It protected a brand. I started putting tapes on a channel under my own name instead of lighting someone else’s. Investigations, livestreams, hearing days in Utah, the Erika Frantzve file, the long Behind the Lens sessions — that is the job now.

I am not an NGO. I am not a comms shop. I am not interested in sounding like either. The tagline is the brief: you’ve seen the work. This is the file.

court docs, hearing days, primary tape, people who were in the room. if it’s in a file, the source is in the file.
