Starbreak privacy

Effective October 7, 2026. Starbreak is a free game by Artifex Labs at artifexmemor.com/starbreak.

What we collect. When you post a score: your 3-letter initials, score, wave reached, and time posted. These appear on the public leaderboard. If you choose Sign in with X: your X user ID and username, shown next to your score and linked to your X profile, plus a sign-in cookie that lasts up to 30 days. For spam prevention we briefly record your IP address and delete it within 24 hours.

What we never collect. Your X password, email, posts, DMs, followers, or any other X data. X's sign-in access is used once to read your username and is not stored.

How it's used. Only to run the leaderboard. We don't sell, share, or analyze it, and there are no ads or trackers.

Who else is involved. X handles sign-in. Our hosting and database providers store the leaderboard.

Your choices. Play without signing in and only your initials are posted. Sign out anytime from the game's title screen. To remove your score or username, email ArtifexMemor@gmail.com or DM @Artifex_Labs and we'll delete it.
